Gudrun is a Radio Producer and Editor who worked for BBC Radio 4 for 17 years on flagship programmes including The World Tonight and File on 4. Leaving the BBC in 2002, Gudrun continued her passion for the spoken word by driving innovation in what was a new and emerging field at the time – the creation of high-quality audio content for the internet. In 2003, Gudrun founded Project V, a
nation-wide young people’s project supported by creative investors,
NESTA. Gudrun is now a specialist in the production of professional-quality audio content including podcasts, on the Internet. In addition to working with schools, Gudrun has produced broadcast quality web audio content for organisations such as Amnesty International, Samaritans and the Nationwide
Gudrun also has a special interest in and knowledge of the issues surrounding adoption. As an adoptive parent, she is currently studying for a course in Adoption and Attachment at Family Futures. She broadcasts and writes articles on adoption issues. She is also volunteering as a mentor.
